Hello Everyone - My name is Melitta, Mel for short, which sometimes becomes Melly which sometimes, when I've been out playing where I shouldn't, becomes Smelly. I live in a tiny village about 12 miles from Northampton. There are fields all around so I have become a good hunter, not that my owners Bill and Grace seem to appreciate my skill. I'm always bringing them presents of half chewed mice and they don't seem to be grateful at all. There's no pleasing some people. Bye, bye. XXX

This is my cat Doddy. I know she's not the prettiest cat in the world but we love her!! She was a very shy stray who used to eat the food we put outside for her and then run off. Gradually, with a lot of patience, she became more friendly and now she's part of the family. She's a very quiet and friendly little cat who has taken a shine to my eight-year-old son who has learning difficulties. It's been lovely to see them both blossom together.

Purrfect Pets: Clint

Meet Clint, a semi-stray. He comes through our cat flap as if he owns the place and stays for a few days. He then disappears for three or four days. He usually returns a bit muddy and often looks as if he's been in a fight. He's a bit rough around the edges but he's very friendly. I feed him because none of my neighbours knows where he comes from and I'm not sure where else he gets his food. I'm not sure he qualifies as a Purrfect Pet, but I like him!
